Female Poker Players All-Time Money List Top 10

One of the great aspects of poker is the fact the playing field is level regardless of age, strength and gender. The game may currently be played predominately by men, but that does not mean that women poker players are any less skilled.
This article takes a look at the top 10 all-time money listings for female poker players. These talented ladies have combined winnings in excess of $36.75 million!

1.) Vanessa Selbst - $8,000,466

Selbst.jpg Vanessa Selbst is by far the most successful female player to have ever played tournament poker.
Selbst's win in the recent UKIPT London High Roller bagged her $109,443 and took her lifetime tournament winnings past $8 million.
Among Selbst's many poker accolades area Partouche Poker Tour win, two NAPT titles, a PCA High Roller victory and two World Series of Poker bracelets!

2.) Kathy Liebert - $5,910,915

Liebert.jpg The majority of Kathy Liebert's $5.9 million in tournament winnings came prior to 2010, but she is still a force to be reckoned with at the felt.
Liebert has cashes dating back to 1994, with her largest score being for a cool $1 million back in 2002, her reward for winning the now defunct PartyPoker Million cruise.

3.) Annie Duke - $4,270,549

Duke.jpg She may not be popular with a large section of the poker community due to her involvement with Ultimate Bet, the failed Epic Poker League and the fact she is Howard Lederer's sister, but Annie Duke comes in at number three on our list.
Duke won a WSOP bracelet in 2004, but it is her win in the WSOP Tournament of Champions in the same year that yielded her largest cash, a cool $2 million.

4.) Annette Obrestad - $3,910,678

Obrestad.jpg Annette Obrestad was already well known in online poker circles before she became the youngest-ever winner of a WSOP bracelet by taking down the inaugural World Series of Poker Europe Main Event.
Known as "Annette_15," Obrestad has $2.62 million in online tournament winnings to go with her $3.9 million in the live arena. With years ahead of her, Obrestad could really challenge Selbst on the leader board.

5.) Vanessa Rousso - $3,504,091

Rousso.jpg In 2009, Vanessa Rousso joined an elite group of player who have won the €25,000 High Roller at the EPT Grand Final. Rousso scooped the $700,160 first place prize and immediately spent a large chunk of it on a Lamborghini Gallardo -- if that doesn't endear her to you then we don't know what will.

6.) Jennifer Harman - $2,697,533

Harman.jpg Poker Hall of Fame nominee Jennifer Harman may be a cash game specialist by trade yet she still has almost $2.7 million in live tournament winnings.
Harman has two WSOP bracelets and has won countless more millions playing cash games in Las Vegas, especially fixed limit Hold'em -- her game of choice.

7.) Joanne "JJ" Liu - $2,648,046

JJ.jpg Two of Joanne "JJ" Liu 's results banked her over $960,000 and make up more than a third of her winning. In 2005, Liu finished fifth in the $15,000 WPT Five Diamond Poker Classic for $362,140 and two years later lost heads-up to Ted Forrest in the $10,000 EPT Bay 101 Shooting Stars event for $600,000.

8.) Liv Boeree - $2,281,097

Boeree.jpg Liv Boeree is one of two Brits and three European Poker Tour winners to make it into the top 10 rankings. In 2010, Boeree outlasted a monster-sized field of 1,240 in Italy to win the EPT San Remo Main Event. That result netted the Astro Physicist €1.25 million ($1.698 million)

9.) Sandra Naujoks - $1,789,239

Naujoks.jpg Germany's Sandra Naujoks had some moderate success before bursting into the mainstream in 2009 when she won EPT Dortmund for €917,000 ($1.159 million).
Since that win, Naujoks has mainly concentrated her play at the EPT and WSOP events.

10.) Victoria Coren - $1,745,178

Coren.jpg Accomplished writer, TV quiz hostess and wife to comic David Mitchell, Victoria Coren is not your typical poker player, but she is one with close to $1.75 million in lifetime winnings.
A large chunk of those winnings stem from her win in the 2006 EPT London Main Event that secured a £500,000 ($941,513) payday for the Londoner.
