Game Help: Delete Cache Files

This article explains how to remove temporary cache files created by the game. If those cache files become corrupted, or have grown too large, it can cause problems.
Deleting cache files can help with:

• Sims 2 or Body Shop being slow to close.
• Body Shop, Sims 2, or Homecrafter never starting when you attempt to run them.
• Body Shop, Sims 2, or Homecrafter crashing while loading.
• Corrupted or incorrect thumbnails.

Deleting cache files is perfectly safe. The game will generally generate fresh new ones when you load it the next time.

Delete groups.cache

Go to My Documents \ EA Games \ The Sims 2 and delete the groups.cache temporary file.

See [this page] for more info on exactly what groups.cache does.

Delete cigen.package

Also in My Documents \ EA Games \ The Sims 2 you will find cigen.package. This file can also be deleted:

Delete Content Registry and accessory.cache

These two files may be present in your My Documents \ EA Games \ The Sims 2 folder as well. If they are, they can be deleted as above.

If some cache files aren't present

You may go into the My Documents \ EA Games \ The Sims 2 folder and find that not all of the files mentioned above are present. That's okay, and generally does not mean there is a problem. Just delete the ones you have.

Delete thumbnails

If you are experiencing shredded, corrupt, blurry, or otherwise incorrect thumbnails, you can delete the contents of the Thumbnails folder safely. You may experience a bit of lag when you browse through your content at first after doing so - Sims 2 or Body Shop will need to regenerate new thumbnails for everything.
To delete your thumbnails, you can just delete the entire contents of the My Documents \ EA Games \ The Sims 2 \ Thumbnails folder:

If you are still experiencing:

• Sims 2 or Body Shop being slow to close:

Try a System Checkup to make sure your computer is running at peak efficiency. Clean up old projects as described on Game Help:Body Shop, and clean up and organize your custom content. Generally, the less content you have, the quicker the everything will close.

• Body Shop, Sims 2, or Homecrafter never starting when you attempt to run them, or crashing when loading:

If you are getting actual error messages, try looking for more information on your specific error. If things just aren't running, or sitting in the task manager but never coming up, try removing your user files to see if that's the issue. If that fails it may be time for a system checkup to make sure it's not a problem with something else on your computer.

• Corrupted or incorrect thumbnails:

If you have deleted your thumbnails, and the new ones are regenerated blurry, crunchy, or corrupted, you may have a problem. Blurry and crunchy thumbnails can often be a sign of a low-powered graphics card that is becoming over-strained. For more information on graphics cards, including identifying what type you have, finding out if it's a good one, updating graphics drivers, how to reduce/minimize strain, and more, see Game Help:Graphics Cards.

Tutorial Mudah BOT RO LYTO Dengan Openkore

Dalam Artikel ini telah disertakan file2 dan gambar2 pendukung tutorial, serta penjabaran tutorialnya sendiri seperti di bawah ini dlm bentuk text (extract file "Tutorial Ngebot RO.rar") link Download file tertera di bagian akhir artikel ini

###Langkah2 Instalasi Bot RO (Openkore)

- Download Bot RO (Openkore) versi terbaru:
http://openkore.collectskin.com/openkore_ready.zip

- Simpan di Harddisk, lalu ekstrak dari zip

- Copy Software bot tersebut menjadi banyak sesuai kebutuhan (jika ingin menjalankan 3 id bersamaan maka copy menjadi 3 software botnya)

- Buka Explore (tombol windows+e di keyboard)lalu masuk ke direktori:
(Drive):......\openkore_ready\home\openkore\svnsnapshots\openkore_ready\control
Misal: F:\RO\BOT RO\openkore_ready\home\openkore\svnsnapshots\openkore_ready\control

- Copy FIle config.txt yg saya sertakan dlm langkah2 ini, lalu Paste ke direktori diatas.



- Ekstrak file COpas.zip lalu copy addkey.txt, Paste di direktori:
(Drive):......\openkore_ready\home\openkore\svnsnapshots\openkore_ready\plugins
Misal: F:\RO\BOT RO\openkore_ready\home\openkore\svnsnapshots\openkore_ready\plugins
Jika belum terdapat folder plugis dlm openkore anda, bisa anda buatkan folder plugins baru


- Masih di Folder Copas, Copy delphine-key.txt, Paste ke direktori:
(Drive):......\openkore_ready\home\openkore\svnsnapshots\openkore_ready\tables
Misal: F:\RO\BOT RO\openkore_ready\home\openkore\svnsnapshots\openkore_ready\tables

- Maka Bot siap digunakan


###Cara menjalankan aplikasi bot RO (Openkore)

- Dobel klik icon start.exe (gambarnya lingkaran hitam-biru dengan gambar +)

- Tunggu beberapa saat sampai program bot selesai mendeteksi resources

- Maka anda akan diminta memilih server RO yang sudah ada Listnya berserta kodenya secara default (List berdasarkan server2 RO Official seluruh dunia)
Untuk memilih RO LYTO, maka anda masukkan Angka "4" (4 merupakan kode untuk idRO secara default berdasar list), lalu tekan enter

- setelah proses loading resources untuk idRO selesai, Maka anda akan diminta memasukkan Username
lalu ketik username idmu, tekan enter

- Setelah itu akan diminta memasukkan Password
ketik Password id RO mu, tekan enter

- Tunggu beberapa saat, proses ini membutuhkan waktu agak lama karena software bot ro sedang berusaha masuk (login) melewati gameguard

- Setelah berhasil Login, maka anda diminta memilih server di idRO (RO LYTO) berdasarkan list yg sudah disediakan beserta kode nya
Pilih sesuai kode di sebelah kiri tiap2 list server
Misal (tampilannya seperti berikut ini):

Maka Jika anda ingin masuk server thor, cukup tekan "0" lalu enter; untuk FunChat, tekan 2 lalu enter, dst

- Setelah berhasil Login server, maka anda diminta memilih karakter yg akan digunakan
Lihat deskripsi di tabel "character selection" disana juga tertera nama id karakter masing2
Pilih karakter dengan cara memasukkan kode (angka) yg tertera sebelum deskripsi karakter
Misal: anda punya 2 karakter, 1 nicknya tes, 2 nicknya coba
maka akan muncul layout seperti di bawah ini:

Pride and Prejudice adalah Novel karangan Jane Austen yang dipublikasikan pada 28 Januari 1813 merupakan novel kompleks yang mengaitkan peristiwa seputar hubungan, hidup, dan kisah cinta dari kelas menengah-atas keluarga Inggris di akhir abad kesembilan belas. Novel ini berisi deskripsi dari peristiwa seputar kehidupan tokoh utamanya, Elizabeth Bennet, Volume pertama akan terbuka dalam rumah tangga Bennet di Longbourn di Inggris. Dibuka dengan suatu masalah aneh keluarga Bennet dimana mereka memiliki lima anak perempuan yang belum menikah dan tidak ada anak laki-laki. Tentu saja sesuai hukum yang berlaku saat itu, maka jika suatu saat Mr Bennet wafat, maka seluruh warisan keluarga Bennet akan jatuh kepada Mr Collins, sepupu keluarga. Sedangkan anak-anak perempuan Bennet tidak akan mendaptan warisan apapun, baik rumah maupun uang . Sehingga menjadi penting, bagi Mrs Bennet bahwa setidaknya salah satu dari anak-anak perempuannya akan menikah dengan Pria yang hartanya dapat melindungi saudari-saudiari mereka, jika mereka tidak bisa menikah. (serta ibumereka jika dia masih hidup). Karena ada lima anak perempuan belum menikah tinggal di rumah pada saat itu, nyonya rumah keluarga, Mrs Bennet, cukup tertarik ketika ada berita tentang kepindahan orang kaya ke Netherfield, sebuah tempat di sekitar dekat. Demi kepentingan anak-anak perempuannya, maka Mrs Bennet segera mendesak suaminya untuk bertemu dengan tetangga yang baru tiba tersebut, Mr Bingley. Namun Mr Bennet cukup enggan untuk melakukannya dengan segera. Sebagai kejutan untuk putrinya dan istrinya, Mr.Bennet mengumumkan bahwa ia telah mengunjungi Netherfield dan menemukan Bingley menjadi "cukup menyenangkan." Kepentingan anak-anak perempuan Bennet timbul ketika mereka belajar bahwa beberapa anggota keluarga Bingley akan hadir dalam pesta dansa yang akan datang di Meryton. Pada pesta dansa akan diadakan acara perkenalan antara keluarga Bingley. Semua kakak beradik Bennet menyimpulkan bahwa baik Mr.Bingley maupun sepupunya, Fitzwilliam Darcy, merupakan pria-pria yang sangat tampan. Namun bagi Elizabeth penampilan Mr. Darcy, begitu menjengkelkan dan menjijikkan. Meskipun ini semua dalah prasangka dari Elizabeth terhadap Mr Darcy yang merupakan keturunan bangsawan yang kaya dan terhormat. Dalam acara dansa tersebut putri tertua Bennet, Jane, segera ditarik oleh Mrs. Bennet untuk menjadi dekat dengan Mr.Bennet. Jane digambarkan sebagai lembut, egois, dan sangat berbudi.Saat dansa akan dimulai, karena kekurangan pria yang akan berdansa, maka Elizabeth memutuskan untuk duduk. Secara tak sengaja Elizabeth mendengar Bingley mendorong Darcy untuk berdansa dengan Elizabeth. Namun Mr Darcy dengan ketus menjawab bahwa "Dia lumayan, tetapi tidak cukup cantik untuk mencoba-ku dan Aku tidak sedang bercanda saat ini sehingga mampu member konsekuensi kepada wanita –wanita muda yang nantinya akan diremehkan oleh laki-laki lain" Walaupun dihina, Elizabeth tidak memberi komentar terhadap jawaban Darcy dan tidak menceritakan peristiwa tersebut kepada Saudara maupun temannya hanya untuk mebalas ejekan perilaku sok Mr Darcy. Elizabeth sebenarnya digambarkan sebagai gadis yang sopan, tetapi memiliki kecerdasan sangat tajam dan menolak untuk diintimidasi oleh siapapun . Ia cenderung menjadi pelindung dari Jane dan keluarganya. Saat akhirnya Elizabeth harus menemani kakaknya dengan berdansa sebagai pasangan Mr Darcy, menyebabkan Elizabeth merasa sebagai korban kesombongan Mr Darcy. Dan selama acara pesta dansa berlangsung, Elizabeth memutuskan untuk menghindari Mr. Darcy. Dimulai dari acara ini, Elizabeth yang akhirnya mempunyai prasangka (Prejudice) terhadap Mr Darcy yang sombong menuntun Elizabeth untuk tidak terlibat lebih jauh dengan Mr Darcy di masa yang akan datang.^[1]
